Stop Creating More Content. Start Using It Better.
You don’t need 30 brand-new ideas every month. There. We said it. One of the biggest misconceptions about social media is that every post needs to be completely new — new topic, new concept, new footage, new everything.
Meanwhile, you probably already have plenty of good content sitting in your camera roll, buried in an old post, or living on a page of your website that no one has looked at in a while. The answer isn’t always more content. Sometimes, it’s using the content you already have better.
One idea. A lot of mileage.
Let’s say you record a Reel answering one of your most frequently asked questions. Great — that’s one Reel. But that same idea could become a carousel breaking down the answer, a Story series, a static graphic, a blog, an email, or even another Reel with a completely different hook. Same message, different format, different opportunity for someone to see it. Because the person who scrolls past your talking Reel might stop for the carousel, and the person who missed both might see it on Stories three days later.
“But I already posted that.”
We hear you. Your audience probably doesn’t. Not every follower sees every post you publish, and even the ones who do aren’t keeping a detailed spreadsheet of everything you’ve said. You’re allowed to repeat yourself. Actually, you should. Strong brands become recognizable because they consistently reinforce what they want to be known for — not because they reinvent themselves every Tuesday.
Create smarter, not constantly.
At The Katee Co, we’d rather take one really good idea and strategically turn it into multiple pieces of content than create something just to fill another square on your feed. More mileage. More consistency. Less staring at your phone wondering what on earth you’re supposed to post today.
Work smarter. Your camera roll will thank you.
