Why Onboarding Matters More Than You Think

Want to know if a social media company is going to be good? Pay attention to what happens before the first post goes live.

Posting right away isn’t a good sign.

It can feel exciting when an agency starts posting on day one. But if they haven’t taken the time to understand your brand, your audience, and your goals, what exactly are they posting? Content without a foundation might fill a feed, but it won’t build a brand.

We start with your brand.

Before we create anything, we break your brand down completely. We build a brand guideline — your colors, fonts, logos, tone of voice, and the overall look and feel of your content. That way, everything we create is consistent and unmistakably you.

Then we build the strategy.

We meet with you before we ever start recording. We talk through your services, your ideal clients, what has and hasn’t worked, and where you want to go. From there, we develop a strategy so every piece of content has a purpose.

Then we take it from there.

Once the foundation is set, we take over — filming, editing, captions, and posting. All of this takes about two weeks to get everything set, ready, and running. It’s an investment of time up front, and it’s the reason the content works once it’s live.

You’ll never wonder who to call.

We stay hands-on long after onboarding. We meet with you every month to review results and plan what’s next. You have our numbers, and you can text us — within reason. We work hard for our clients, and we want you to feel like we’re part of your team, not a vendor you never hear from.

A great social media partner takes the time to get it right. The first two weeks tell you everything.
